Webitor® E-Commerce Shopping Cart
Simple shopping cart - No Database
We can setup a simple non-database shopping cart that you manage using Webitor. This option is ideal if you want to list up to around 50 products online. The simple shopping cart displays a short description of your product with a photo and price, users can then click for a full description. You can sell products, services and ebooks (pdfs) through the shopping cart. Payments are collected through PayPal.
The simple shopping cart features are:
- Product photos
Insert 1 main photo, and more photos on the full description. - Product description
Each product will have its own page with a full descripion. - Pricing/Options
Each product can have multiple options and prices, for example: If you are selling t-shirts, you can list sizes and colours. Blue shirts are $5, orange shirts are $7. - Set single price shipping
Shipping is set either to a default price ($10 per order) or a price per product, shipping is not calculated on the weight of the order. The advanced shopping cart can calculate shipping based on weight & location.
- Stock quantity control
Set amount of stock available, when they are all sold the product is removed from the website. - Collect credit card payments through PayPal
Accept visa, mastercard, and bank payments. - Add/remove products yourself using Webitor
Manage your products using Webitor, change prices, photos and add new products at no extra charge. - No search function
The simple shopping cart does not have a search function, users can browse your website for the products you have on sale.
The advanced shopping cart has a search function.
If you don't have a staff member to enter the products onto the website we can do it for you. Simply send us the information in a word document and we can enter the products for you, price per product is $3.

Accepting Payments Online:
PayPal
To collect credit card payments online we suggest using PayPal. PayPal is a simple and secure method for accepting Credit Card payments. PayPal is free to sign up; they take a small percentage per sale. PayPal is the cheapest Payment Gateway and a great place to start accepting payments online.

Bank Payment Gateway
If you already have a merchant ID with your bank, you can apply for a online merchant account, this will enable you to accept payments directly into your bank account. Talk to your bank about their options for intergrating with websites. Setup cost will depend on which bank you are with, they all have different systems.

Give your pages descriptive titles and include keywords for your industry. This is the second most important element for good search engine rankings. Make sure each page has a different title and keep it relevant to the text on that page.
